Haze Daze
my alternative timeline
Hello hello,
I am living with a baby. Thus, all things are on their own alternative timeline.
Today I will be slow thinking, slow doing. I might not do much more than watch a baby discover its world.
I will probably pick up a sock, fold it, put it on a table and start chopping a carrot for lunch. I will go upstairs to retrieve a cup of water and then sit down to dash off a painting. My days are a haze of processes.
I complete the necessary things. Every thing else is left open, unanswered. If I got back to you, congratulations! You’re important.
This is a haze phase of living. Lots of ambiguity, weird timing, open thinking. This is 75% maddening. It’s also cool. Clarifying.
Here are some things I have completed over the past few months. I’m really proud of these things because getting things “done” is so relative for me right now.
These things are DONE»»»»»
-Open: Every Seed Has Its Moment arrived at bookstores.
-Change of Heart is off at a printer despite having to change printers last minute, RIP Embassy Graphics. This story is v cute imo. I’ll tell you about it soon.
-Cards! Prints! over at Buy Olympia
I rarely make cards. I haven’t yet landed on who/what my card maker personality is-Do I write things on them like “Happy Birthday”? Do I just make blank cards? I split the different this go around. I like this series and I hope to make more in the fall. My favorite right now:
I will also whisper that I think I finished a book dummy that I really love. I hope it works out in some capacity.
Ok yes! Here’s to finishing nothing this summer.
